A passion for sports nutrition

The optimal nutrition plan for both performance and health is much more than knowing which foods to eat.  It is about creating a nutrition plan which fuels your training, competition, and day-to-day life.  And it is our belief that getting this nutrition plan right will elevate the performance of every endurance athlete beyond their expectations.

Our passion for endurance sport stems from over 25 years of involvement as athletes and practitioners, which has provided a clear understanding of the challenges faced by those seeking to maximise their athletic potential.  We’ve also spent over 15 years developing our understanding of sports nutrition - first, through education, and then working in academia to generate new knowledge through our research, which informs our teaching in our roles as lecturers at Liverpool John Moores University.

And it is this knowledge and expertise that we want to pass on to all endurance athletes in order to help them achieve and surpass their goals, to move beyond their boundaries.

Jules has 12 years of experience in exercise physiology and nutrition research, lecturing and consultancy. As a registered nutritionist, she works with athletes of all ages across all levels of competition with a particular specialism in endurance sport and the female athlete. She believes in working collaboratively with the athlete to develop a plan that is optimal for each individual.  Jules has long been participating in sport and has more recently been a competitive duathlete and triathlete competing up to half ironman distance and racing for the Great Britain age group team.
